This electroacoustic hollow kalimba is handcrafted from high-quality wood. The internal sound chamber is carved by hand from a single block of wood. This approach minimizes internal resonance and eliminates the typical “nasal” echo often associated with hollow kalimbas.

The result is a clean, balanced tone comparable to that of a flatboard kalimba, while preserving the softness and richness of natural wood. Each note sounds clear and bright – just as you’ve come to expect from our instruments.

Thanks to the bass-reflex hollows – one larger in front and two smaller ones at the back – this kalimba also allows for expressive wah-wah effects that will inspire both advanced players and those seeking a fresh sound experience.

Tuned in a diatonic scale, this kalimba is ideal for intuitive playing as well as for performing compositions. Measuring 17 x 14 cm, it fits comfortably in adult hands. With 17 tines in a single-row layout, it’s suitable for both beginners and professionals.
