This intuitive tuning has well-placed tines for comfortable play. By purchasing an instrument with this tuning, you directly support its creator Serge – SaReGaMa, a great musician and composer, to whom we contribute a portion from every kalimba sold with his tuning.
This kalimba is also made of wood, which has been dried for several years. We hand-made it out of walnut tree wood, which is characteristic with its soft and warm tone. Its sound qualities are guaranteed by carefully picking the trees with which we then work. Every kalimba that goes through such process sounds even better in the long run – thanks to frequent playing.
Sound tuning
Pentatonic tuning is easier and you really don’t have to think that hard while playing so. It’s ideal for kalimba beginners, or for the kids. This tuning, which indicates five tones, brings joy to people who don’t have much experience with a musical instrument.
